Uncapped Gas Lines

Sometimes gas lines are not properly closed off. This happens when a natural gas appliance (like a dryer or stove) is replaced with an electric one or removed altogether – and the gas line is not properly capped or plugged.

Cross Bores

A cross bore, also called a blocked sewer line, is caused when a natural gas line is accidentally drilled through a sewer line during installation. A cross bore can potentially cause a back up in your pipe which will need to be cleared.
