ATCO Australia's Gas Division is the distributor of natural gas in Western Australia. As a regulated distribution utility, we are responsible for the safe, reliable and affordable delivery of natural gas to homes and businesses across Western Australia.
Our delivery rates cover the costs of delivering gas to Western Australians, which includes:
- Providing 24-hour natural gas emergency response
- Connecting new customers to the gas network
- Measuring natural gas through regular meter reading
- Submitting meter readings to retailers so they can accurately bill customers
- Operating a contact centre and other services to answer questions from customers and retailers
- Building new infrastructure
- Relocating and upgrading natural gas pipelines and other gas distribution infrastructure to keep pace with WA's growth
Your Retailer
In Western Australia, you choose the energy retailer you would like to purchase natural gas from. The retailer sells you natural gas, provides account services and bills you.
