Your home can be connected to our gas network in just a few easy steps. Whether you?re in an established home or building a new one, it?s easier than ever to get connected. ATCO Australia are not a gas retailer, this means that in order to get connected to the gas network you must start by selecting a gas retailer or a gas fitter can do this on your behalf. The connection process is outlined below.
Carbon Neutral Natural Gas

In WA, gas is delivered to a home at around half the cost of grid based electricity on a per c/kWh basis.

The first step in getting connected to the gas distribution network is to contact a gas retailer. ATCO Australia are not a gas retailer, we own and operate gas distribution networks, ensuring safe, reliable and affordable gas is delivered to your home or business. We do not sell gas like a gas retailer. ATCO Australia are only one part of the gas supply chain which includes Production, Transmission pipelines, Distribution pipelines (this is where we come in) and Retail. Alternatively, you can contact a licenced gasfitter to get started
Your gas fitter can contact a retailer on your behalf to start the connection process for your home. You can find a licensed gasfitter on the Master Plumbers & Gasfitters Association website or just by searching for licenced fitters in your local area. Once your new gas retailer opens an account for you, one of our friendly gas distribution personnel will come to your home to finish the connection to the network for you.
